I have some exciting news to share! My photograph "Ephemeral" has received an Honorable Mention in the Photography category at ArtCabbage 2024—and I couldn’t be more thrilled!
What is ArtCabbage?
For those who may not be familiar, ArtCabbage is an international art competition that celebrates creativity across multiple disciplines, from painting and photography to digital art and mixed media. It’s a space where emerging and established artists come together to showcase their work, and I’m honored to have my photography recognized among such talented creators.
The Story Behind "Ephemeral"
"Ephemeral" is a piece that, to me, embodies the fleeting beauty of the natural world—the way light dances on a dewdrop, the delicate impermanence of a tiny leaf just before it fades, the quiet poetry of a moment that exists for only an instant. Photography has a way of capturing these tiny, transient wonders and holding them still, if only for a little while.
To have this piece acknowledged in a competition that values artistic expression and storytelling means so much to me. It’s a reminder of why I do what I do—why I seek magic in the everyday, why I chase the glow of morning light, why I pause to appreciate the details most might overlook.
